Immigration Medical Exams
Question: Do I need to bring a photo?
Answer: No. We take a digital photo of you upon arrival

Q: Is the lab and x-ray on site?
A: The lab is in our building and the x-ray is a short drive away. Both can be done the same day - no appointment necessary.

Q: What do I bring?
A: Passport, medications and glasses if you wear them for distant vision.
​
Q: What ages need blood work and chest x-ray?
A: Blood test for syphilis, HIV and creatinine - ages 15 and older - no fasting required.
(Urine test is no longer required)
Chest x-ray - ages 11 and older

Q: Are the fees covered by my insurance company or OHIP?
A: You will receive a receipt and can attempt to see if your private insurance company will reimburse you. OHIP does not cover any of the fees.

Q: Can I get a copy of the results?
A: Ask the lab for the log in information to see your lab results online. If you require a copy of your exam please advise us at the time of your exam. You will be able to pick up a copy at the office. We will not email a copy to you.

Q: I'm not sure if I need a repeat exam, as I've done it previously.
A: Please check with Immigration Canada as we can't determine the need. We just perform the medical assessments.

Q: I'm not sure what category to apply for?
A: Select the one that is most appropriate. You can check with our staff also when you arrive on exam day. The exam and the testing is the same regardless under what category you are applying under.

Q: What if I'm applying under IFHP? (refugee program)
A: Please send us the "Acknowledgement of claim....." letter with your request for appointment.

Q: Has my medical report been submitted to IRCC?
You can check if your medical report has been submitted to IRCC by logging into your application status tracker or your IRCC secure account.

Third-Party Medical Exams
We conduct thorough third-party medical exams to assess your health status for various purposes. Our certified medical professionals will perform the necessary tests and provide detailed reports for your records.

Question: What exams do you perform?
Answer: Employment, Pre-employment, Adoption, University admittance and Team/Sports exams. We do not do assessments of fitness to return to work after an injury, WSIC assessments or medical-legal assessments.
MTO Driver Medical Exams
Drivers requiring MTO medical exams can rely on our clinic for efficient and accurate assessments. Our team specializes in conducting MTO driver medical exams. We accept patients even if they have a family physician. Schedule your exam with us today.

Question: What should I bring?
Answer: The MTO form, and your medications or a list of your medications. Also you will be asked to provide a urine sample to check for diabetes.

Question: What is the fee?
Answer: $280 in cash paid at the time of service
